Revisiting the Masters

What is ACEO?

Literally "Art Cards Editions and Originals", ACEO's are collectible little pieces of art. An ACEO is always 2½ inches by 3½ inches. That is the size of a standard sports trading card. The rule about size is the only rule in the ACEO world. An ACEO can be created in any medium the artist desires: photographs, paint, colored pencils, ink, etc. There are even ACEO's made from wood, clay, fabric, and metal.

Each is printed on quality cardstock with the image on the obverse and pertinent information on the reverse. A certificate of authenticity in included with every card. The ACEO cards are packed in 2½ X 3½ Ultra-Pro, High Clarity, Acid Free Card Sleeves which are then placed in a high density plastic display holder.

Recession Special! All 13X19" prints (and Smaller), All ACEO's, and All Magnets are 50% OFF. All 24" prints are 25% OFF! Untill MAY 31.

NOW all ACEO's are offered as 2½ X 3½ refrigerator magnets.  These are the most striking magnet series I have seen on the market.

NEW   Especially for Art Teachers! Any of the Masters Series can be ordered as either 1/2 page (8 1/2 X 5 1/2) or full page (8 1/2 X 11) cards (plain or laminated) or magnets.  See ACEO's and Magnets price chart for details.

Producing this series of images has been sheer joy.  The mastery, delicacy, and beauty of these classic works of art are stunning to say the least.  All of the images are in the public domain.  Most of the works themselves are owned by various museums and cathedrals around the world, a few by private individuals.

Clicking on a "thumbnail" will open a larger image.  Click on the new image once (+) to see it full size and a second time  (-) to return it to screen size.  Click your browser's "back button" (<<=) to return to the original "thumbnail".  Clicking on the NUMBER under the "thumbnail" will take you to the CORRESPONDING NAME on the Numbers, Names, and Information about Michelangelo ACEO's Chart(Note: The links on and below this chart will take you to the places where the art works are located.  They should open a new window.  A few of the links open to Wikipedia articles as the locations do not have websites.) From the information page you can (A) click on the NUMBER TO THE LEFT OF THE NAME which will return you to the "thumbnail" or (B) proceed to the Order Form for Photographs, ACEO's, and Magnets.

Coming Soon: The Rembrandt Series, The Rubens Series, The Sargent Series, The Vermeer Series, The Verocchio Series
